We offer respite care for your child, providing a break for you and the rest of your family.
Your child can stay with us for a day, a night or a weekend. Knowing your child is in a safe, caring environment allows you to take a well-deserved break, spend time with your other children or just enjoy some time for yourself.
Please follow Government advice published at http://nhs.uk/coronavirus
Do not visit a GP practice, urgent care centre, or any of our services if you have symptoms.
We are aware that this will be a worrying time for you and for your family. We are doing all we can to keep our CYPF services running while also keeping you and our staff safe. However, please be aware that due to the impact of COVID-19 we will be prioritising urgent appointments and referrals and some services will be disrupted, postponed or delivered differently (via phone or video link where possible).
Our service is based in the grounds of Manor Green School in Maidenhead.
Here, we provide respite to children and young people up to age 18 (or 19, if still in a special school) with complex health needs and learning difficulties, and who are on the Children’s Community Nursing caseload.
As well as providing respite care at Manor Green, we can provide respite care within your home and according to individual needs.
Referrals for this service come from the children’s community nursing team only.
Once a referral is accepted, we’ll contact you within seven working days to arrange a home visit for a respite assessment.
