Local Transformation Plans
Berkshire CAMHS are working closely with both NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS West Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group who are leading on work across Berkshire to improve and transform mental health services for children and young people.
This work has been developed as part of a national programme, following recognition that children’s emotional wellbeing and mental health has for many years been an area which has not been given sufficiently priority and funding.
Both Clinical Commissioning Groups have published local transformation plans outlining what we are doing and what we want to do together to better support children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing, including CAMHS.
