Adrenaline autoinjector pens at school - reminder

If your child has an adrenaline autoinjector pen prescription and is heading back to school, remember to make sure the school has an up to date pen.

All Emerade pens have been recalled due to some pens failing to activate. You should have previously been contacted by your child’s GP or pharmacist to have their pen replaced. But please remember to also make sure you have replaced any Emerade pens that are held in school.

Please remember to store pens in a dark place, at room temperature (between 15-25°C). They should be in an insulated wallet if the temperature is warmer than 25°C or colder than 15°C, or if carried in a bag which can get warmer than 25°C or colder than 15°C.
