Your child's health and developmental review

Part of the Healthy Child Programme that Health Visiting services undertake is the health and developmental reviews of children at 9 months and again at 2-2.5 years.

The impact of Covid-19 and lockdown on the services we have been able to deliver has meant we have had to pause some of our normal visits. The government provided us with guidance on those visits and contacts we should be completing, and those which would be carried out when it’s safe to do so.

We have been making steps to bring back our face to face contacts and be able to offer our developmental reviews again. We’ll be in contact with you to arrange a suitable time for you and your child to come along to one of our review clinics.

In the meantime, if you have any concerns about your child’s development, or would like support with any concerns such as toilet training, toddler behaviour, sleeping, eating or anything else, please get in contact. Our Health Visiting duty lines are open Monday-Friday, from 9am until 4.30pm. We don’t work weekends or bank holidays, but you can always leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
