It's now much easier to contact a mamber of our Health Visiting service, by confidential text message using ChatHealth.
Parents and carers can simply text us and a member of the health visiting team will send a reply. We can offer advice and information on any worries you may have about your baby or child, such as breastfeeding or bottle feeding, child development, toileting, sleep, behaviour, parenting, food and nutrition, or their health.
One parent said: “To reach someone easily and get a response so fast is really reassuring. I thought I would need a long wait to speak to anyone”.
Kirstie Burrows, our Health Visiting lead, says: “The Health Visiting Service are delighted to be offering ChatHealth as a way for parents and carers to be able to gain support, advice, information and help from our teams. ChatHealth is offered in many health visiting and school nursing services up and down the country and it brings contacting your health visiting team into the 21st century!”

ChatHealth is available if you live in Bracknell, Wokingham, Reading or West Berkshire, and have a child aged 0-5. Messages are charged at your usual rates.
