Celebrating Learning Disability Awareness Week 2024

Health bus side view

We’re celebrating Learning Disability Awareness Week (17-23 June 2024) by taking our Health Bus on the road so our Learning Disability team can meet with communities across Berkshire.

Published on 14 June 2024

This year’s theme is ‘Do you see me?’ and so the team is focusing on how communities can be more accessible and inclusive for people with learning disabilities by sharing tips, advice and information from both practitioners and those with lived experience.

There will be a chance to join in with a range of activities and games, as well as finding out information about our services and the networks of support available in the local area.

Meet our Learning Disability Team

Our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Psychiatry, Community Nursing, Dietetics, and our Intensive Support Team.
