The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that junior doctors will take industrial action for five days from 7am on Thursday 27 June 2024 until 7am on Tuesday 2 July 2024.
The industrial action is a national dispute between the Government and Trades Unions about the terms and conditions for doctors working in the NHS.
The safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. We’re committed to keeping disruption to services to a minimum on these dates and we have measures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of our patients and our staff.
Our staff are working hard during this challenging time, please treat them with respect. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation during this time.
Appointments
We’ll contact you directly if we need to re-schedule your appointment. However, if you have an appointment on these days and have not been contacted, please assume this is going ahead unless you’ve been informed otherwise.
You can continue to access GPs as normal.
