Sarah Parsons, our Interim Head of Universal Services, has been presented with a national award for leadership in health visiting by the Journal of Health Visiting at a ceremony at Edgbaston Stadium on 23 March.
This award is for health visitors who have shown skill and determination in leadership, helping to shape and develop the profession and the leadership role.
Speaking of her award, Sarah said;
“It was very gratifying to win this award for integrating the health visiting teams across our own children’s services and with our Local Authority partners in Berkshire. Our health visiting staff work incredibly hard to deliver great care and for this to be recognised nationally is a great achievement for us all.”
Karen Cridland, Director Children, Young People & Family Services for Berkshire Healthcare added;
“Sarah has led, transformed and supported the service through a time of immense change to ensure we can provide the best possible service to our children and families. She fully deserves to win this award and we are immensely proud of her.”
